Transneft Central Siberia, JSC, was founded in 1972 to ensure construction of the Aleksandrovskoye – Anzhero-Sudzhensk oil pipeline and train qualified personnel for its operation. Construction of the century was completed within record brief timeframes, and the route length (818 km) and the pipe diameter (1,220 mm) were unique at that time. At present Transneft Central Siberia, JSC, maintains three oil trunk pipelines of Western Siberia: Aleksandrovskoye – Anzhero-Sudzhensk (818 km), Igolsko-Talovoye – Parabel (397 km), and Samotlor – Aleksandrovskoye (23 km). The total length of operated oil pipelines as the route is 1,239 km, as the single line – 1,394.41 km; it includes 20 km across the territory of the Tyumen Region, 1,344 km across the Tomsk Region, and 30 km in the Kemerovo Region. The company pumps oil arriving from the Nizhnevartovsk, Samotlor, Strezhevoy fields as well as the Vasiugan group of fields.
The modern structure of the joint-stock company along with the management apparatus includes: three regional oil pipeline departments Strezhevoy RPD (founded in April 1971), Parabel RPD (founded in May 1972), Tomsk oil pipeline department (founded in April 2001), including 5 OPS: Aleksandrovskoye, Raskino, Parabel, Molchanovo, Orlovka, and 3 reservoir farms with the total capacity in terms of the construction nominal reaching 480 thousand cubic meters (including Aleksandrovskoye OPS – 280 thousand cubic meters, Raskino OPS – 40 thousand cubic meters, Parabel OPS – 160 thousand cubic meters), Base of production-technical services and equipment completing (BPES&E); subsidiary TOMZEL, CJSC manufacturing electric drives and other high precision electronic and mechanical products for Transneft, JSC.
