New Collective Bargaining Contract Adopted at Transneft Central Siberia, JSC

A corporate team conference was held at Transneft Central Siberia, JSC on 19 February 2016. The meeting participants summarized the performance of the 2013/2015 collective bargaining contract, submitted the proposals to be incorporated into a new collective bargaining contract. In addition, corporate team representatives were elected to the labor dispute commission.

The company’s adopted collective bargaining contract was amended as concerns benefits, guarantees, work time logging for individual employee categories. For instance, a section that accounts for the length of service of such specialties as electric and gas welder and linear pipeline worker was added to the Employee Bonus Regulation. Amendments were also made to the work time logging for seasonal workers.

As concerns Occupational Health, a new version of the standards on free provision of overalls and other personal protective equipment was adopted and is intended to create safe and the most comfortable working conditions for Transneft Central Siberia, JSC employees. All overalls used in the joint-stock company are made of tissue protecting from oil and oil products, are fire resistant and have special reflective elements.

Transneft Central Siberia, JSC collective-bargaining contract was also supplemented with a new section on youth outreach. This Section provides for the status of the company’s young professional, describes the conditions of advanced training and settling down in a new residence. The Section covers the company’s main objectives in working relationships with young professionals: focusing them on development of engineering solutions aimed at improving the production process; engaging young professionals in the company’s scientific and technical conferences; annual contest for the best youth scientific and technical solution.

The previous collective bargaining contract of Transneft Central Siberia, JSC in 2013 ranked No. 1 among such contracts in Tomsk Region. The new one adopted at the conference will expire on 20 February 2019.
