Transneft Central Siberia, JSC released muksun young fish to the Ob river

Ecologists of Transneft Central Siberia released to the Ob river about 1,350 muksun young fishes belonging to salmon species, whitefish subspecies, to the extent of implementation of complex environmental measures to recover aquatic biological resources. 

The environmental campaign to recover biological resources of the Ob-Irtysh basin was organized to the extent of the work on revamping of oil trunk pipelines facilities within the sphere of responsibility of regional oil pipeline directorates of Transneft Central Siberia.

Such campaigns are an integral part of Transneft Environmental Policy, they are oriented to recovery of the population and maintenance of species diversity of fish. During the last three years about 2.3 million peled young fishes and 20.5 thousand muksun young fishes were released in the regions of presence of Transneft Central Siberia.
