For nine months Transneft Central Siberia, JSC saved 906.92 thousand kW⋅h of electric power

Transneft Central Siberia summed up provisional results of implementation of the programme of energy saving and improvement of energy efficiency of the company's facilities for the period from January to September 2017. The actually saving of electric power due to optimization of oil transportation technological processes amounted approximately to 906.92 thousand kWh.

The measures under the energy saving and energy efficiency improvement programme were taken during the whole calendar year. For nine months, due to optimization of technological processes of operation modes of the main and booster units, including inner cleaning of the pipeline,  the company saved 746.85 thousand kWh of electric power.  

The technological effect of installation of the automatic temperature mode control systems and thermostatic regulators in the heating system of the buildings amounted to 51.93 tons of reference fuel. At present individual thermostatic regulators are installed in heating systems of all administrative buildings of the company, thermometers and information plates with the appropriate temperature in the room are installed in each room.

Saving due to optimization of itineraries of vehicles and renewal of the vehicle fleet for the period from January to September of this year amounted to 21.72 tons of reference fuel.

Another important measure under the energy saving and energy efficiency improvement programme of Transneft Central Siberia consisted in replacement of old lamps and spotlights to light-emitting diode lamps and floodlights. The effect of this measure for nine months amounted to 160.07 thousand kW-h
