Transneft Central Siberia Allocates Some RUB 14 Million to Equip Two Schools in Tomsk Region

In 2018, Transneft Central Siberia will allocate financial support in the amount of some RUB 14 million to two schools in Tomsk Region to make repairs and equip the exact sciences classrooms with modern equipment.

Mathematics, chemistry and physics classrooms will be overhauled at the Strezhevoy secondary schools No. 4 and 5. The allocated funds will be also used to purchase furniture, computer hardware, textbooks and equipment for interactive demonstration and laboratory experimentation.

Last year two schools in Parabel District and one school at the Seversk closed administrative and territorial entity (CATE) received financial support from Transneft Central Siberia.

Transneft has been giving charity support to the educational institutions for two years. In 2017, the Company kicked off a large-scale corporate programme for school education development to promote better-quality educational process for exact disciplines at small towns and villages. In 2017-2019, Transneft Central Siberia will outfit up-to-date physics, chemistry, and mathematics classrooms at 11 schools.
