Transneft Central Siberia Wins the Regional Stage of the Russian High Social Efficiency Company Contest

Transneft Central Siberia has been named the winner of the regional stage of the Russian High Social Efficiency Company contest. The Company ranked first in the Involvement in Addressing Local Social Issues and Corporate Charity Development nomination. Aleksey Vologdin, Deputy General Director of Transneft Central Siberia, received the award from Sergey Ilyinykh, Deputy Governor of Tomsk Region.

Transneft Central Siberia will now participate in the federal stage of the contest in Moscow as a Tomsk Region representative. The results of the nationwide contest will be reviewed in late February at the meeting of the Russian Trilateral Commission on the Regulation of Social and Labor Relations.

The Company also ranked third in the Talent Development in Production Companies nomination.

Participating in the contest were mechanical engineering, mineral production and processing, energy, construction, agricultural, transport, telecom, education and public health companies of Tomsk Region.

Every year, Transneft Central Siberia provides charitable assistance to educational and cultural institutions, hospitals, sports federations and NGOs. In 2017, the Company was involved in the implementation of 45 projects in the territory of Tomsk Region as part of its charity activities, having allocated some RUB 30 million for the purposes.

The Russian High Social Efficiency Company contest has been held annually since 2000. Its mission is to raise public awareness of the importance of addressing acute social issues on the company level and celebrate best social projects. The contest includes two stages (regional and federal) in the categories approved by the Organizing Committee. The main organizer of the contest is the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Russian Federation.
