Transneft Central Siberia Releases Young Commercial Fish into Novosibirsk Reservoir in Altay Territory

Transneft Central Siberia has released peled juveniles into Novosibirsk reservoir in Altay Territory.

Some 37,500 peled juveniles were released in Novouralsky settlement (Krutikhinsky District of Altay Territory). Transneft Central Siberia takes compensatory environmental measures in all the regions of its production activities.

The young fishes of valuable species are released into reservoirs within the scope of Transneft’s environmental policy, as part of the industrial compensatory measures taken by Transneft Central Siberia.

Within the scope of its efforts in artificial breeding of the aquatic biological resources, from 2015 to 2018 Transneft Central Siberia released more than 2 million juveniles of muksun and peled fishes into reservoirs of the Tomsk, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk regions, and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District - Yugra.
