Date of publication: 20 August 2018 Print

Transneft Central Siberia has put a new boiler house into operation at Orlovka oil pumping station (PS) affiliated with Tomsk Oil Pipeline Directorate. Commissioning the boiler house will substantially contribute to enhancing the Company’s energy efficiency, enabling to decrease the expenditure on supplying heat to operational facilities.

External heating networks’ thermal insulation was replaced completely, and pipelines were partially replaced at Orlovka PS’s operational facility.  Backup fuel tanks and searchlight towers for lightning the boiler house site were installed, power cable lines and automation and alarm cabling was laid.

The boiler house manufactured by Transneftemash factory features boilers fuelled by oil. The boilers for the boiler house and the componentry (heat calculators, electromagnetic flow meters) were fabricated in Russia.

The new 4 MW boiler house is designed for supplying heat to Orlovka PS’s operational facilities. The block modular boiler house is fully automated.

In 2019, similar boiler houses will appear at Aleksandrovskoye PS, Kargasok ELMD and the Company’s production and technical maintenance and equipment procurement base.

The boiler house at Orlovka PS was constructed as part of Transneft Central Siberia’s technical upgrading and revamping programme.
