Transneft Central Siberia Supports Environmental and Ethnographic Festival in Tomsk Region

Transneft Central Siberia has supported the fifth EcoEtno environmental and ethnographic festival, which was held in Tomsk region. During the day, the Okolitsa village park (Zorkaltsevo Settlement, Tomsky District) was visited by about 6 thousand people.

The festival was attended by guests from Tomsk, Kemerovo and Novosibirsk Region.

Various environmental and ethnographic workshops, contests, quests, cultural, entertainment and educational activities, as well as a fair and a concert were prepared by about 80 organisations. Seven national associations of Tomsk Region presented their customs and cuisine at the EcoEtno festival.

In the exhibition areas and themed tents, guests were able to get acquainted with various aspects of an ecological lifestyle. The focus was set on waste management and presentation of opportunities regarding reusing raw materials.

The festival is held in order to develop ecological culture and ensure environmentally safe and sustainable development of Tomsk Region. Every year, the event attracts an increasing number of participants.
