Transneft Central Siberia Donates Special Editions of Historical Magazine to Khabarovsk Libraries

As part of a social campaign, Transneft Central Siberia has handed over special issues of the Istorik magazine to seven Tomsk libraries.

The sets are dedicated to the history of Crimea from ancient times to the present day, as well as to the Russian revolution of 1917. Articles in these magazines were prepared with the participation of leading experts of the Institute of Russian History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the MSU, the MGIMO and a number of other large universities and scientific institutions.

The “1917.  The Russian revolution: history lessons” and “Crimea. The pages of history from ancient times to the present day” special issues were donated to the Tomsk State University’s Science Library, the Tomsk State Pedagogical University's Science Library named after A. Krylov, the Tomsk Regional Universal Scientific Library named after A. Pushkin, the Tomsk Regional Library for Children and Youth, the library of Tomsk branch of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation and municipal libraries of Tomsk.

Istorik is a Russian historical magazine published by the ISEPR Foundation (Institute of social, economic and political research) since 2015. The magazine's circulation is 15 thousand copies. Transneft has been cooperating with the editors in the field of scientific and educational activities since 2016.

The 96-page Istorik magazine is published every month, some issues are thematic. Next year, two more special issues will be published: one will be dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, and the other one will honour the 100th anniversary of the end of the Civil War.
