Transneft Central Siberia allocated about RUB 80.5 million for implementation of charitable projects in Tomsk Region in 2019.
The assistance was provided to educational, medical and social institutions, veterans’ organisations, and local municipalities.
Support of settlements and small towns and development of infrastructure in rural areas are among the priority activities of Transneft Central Siberia’s charity programme.
The Company allocated RUB 1 million for a stadium overhaul in Aleksandrovskoye Settlement. About RUB 1 million was spent on purchasing sports equipment for a children’s sports school in Kargasok.
Last year, the Company continued to implement the programmme aimed at supporting educational institutions in settlements near Transneft Central Siberia operating facilities. In order to improve academic quality, the Company allocated RUB 53.5 million to carry out repairs and purchase new educational equipment in eight schools.
RUB 5.4 million were provided for purchasing medical equipment and specialised furniture for the Central District Hospital of Molchanovsky District.
As part of its charitable activities, the Company pays great attention to the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, physical education and sports. The assistance is provided to sports schools, federations of Tomsk Region and municipalities. The regional federation of underwater sports held the Russian Diving Championship with the support of the Company in Tomsk. Support of the Cup of Russia on kettlebell lifting was another major charity project.
As part of its charitable activities, Transneft Central Siberia sustains projects in the field of patriotic, spiritual and moral education of the younger generation. The Company assisted the Tomich search unit in conducting the Memory Watch exploration works in Novgorod and Pskov Regions. According to the results of the works, the remains of 20 Red Army soldiers were found. The Company provides regular assistance to the associations of defense sports clubs of Tomsk Region in organising and conducting the Tomskaya Zastava training camp for children and youth from different regions of Siberia.
