Transneft Central Siberia has provided financial assistance to the Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) for facilities upgrading as part of its charitable activities.
Modern educational equipment was purchased with the company’s charity funds, including a video conferencing system, a switching and control system, a spark inspection tool and an insulation damage sensor. This equipment will be used to train students of the School of Earth Sciences & Engineering of TPU.
In addition, three classrooms were repaired with the company’s funds. Water supply, heating and electricity systems were overhauled in these classrooms, flooring, windows and doors were replaced, fire alarm and security alarm systems were installed.
Being a socially oriented company, Transneft Central Siberia regularly allocates funds for upgrading facilities of educational institutions at all levels’ as part of its charity program. In 2019, the company provided assistance in purchasing specialised equipment to the Tomsk Technology and Humanities College, as well as to schools of Strezhevoy, Chazhemto Village, Molchanovo and Narym Villages of Tomsk Region.
